Some of the older guitars did not have serial numbers, but we started stamping serial numbers into the neck block in 1991.”.

This Collings Guitars - CJ-45 A T brings the highly regarded CJ model into the Traditional series, drawing inspiration from some of the great slope shoulder jumbos of the Wartime era. Featuring an Adirondack top, paired with a more flat Mahogany back and sides, this guitar packs the sort of growl and umph that we love about the vintage models. Dry, focused mid-range, with more a fundamental response and a quicker fall off, making for a great guitar for vocal accompaniment or country tunes.
